"Martha Number 1" from her Dairy Cow Series is a 20"x16" acrylic on canvas original painting by visual artist Mindy M. Toth-Padilla. This painting was featured in the 2022 Pine Castle Pioneer Days Arts & Crafts Festival in Orlando, Florida. The painting was inspired by the festival's theme, the American Dairy Farmer. Toth-Padilla visited a local New Smyrna Beach, Florida dairy farm to expand on her first hand knowledge of the modern day dairy farmer and photograph the cows. This subject stood out amongst the rest in her friendly personality, continuing to pursue the artist throughout their time on the farm. Several paintings were completed with "Martha" as the subject; this is the first of them, where she curiously turns her head to face the camera.
Toth-Padilla lives and works in downtown Orlando, Florida and is the artist and owner behind her boutique art company The Painted Paw. Her work is focused on bringing out a pet's individuality and personality through the use of vibrant color in her medium of acrylic on canvas.
